Inquiry into AI

The Australian Government is having an Inquiry into the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in the Australian education system. AI is integrated in extended reality (VR,AR,MR) applications and platforms in ways that are not usually discernable to users such as in the design of virtual worlds, powering the interactions of non-player characters, and biometric tracking (tracking of eye gaze, pupil dilation, limb movements, voice etc). Shortly, I will be writing a post on AI in VR. In the meantime, you can read my submission to the Inquiry which details pedagogical and ethical issues. You can also check out other submissions here.
